Summer Reading Has Begun!

Another year of summer reading has started.  I really don't know where the time has went.  I am glad that the snow is gone and we have hung up our winter gear for a few months.  When summer reading starts so does our Friendly Staff Competition.  This years theme is all about road trips and travel.  The first weeks three winners are, Kris, Karin, and Ty!

And the May Brag Award Goes To...

Stephanie!  She is the one on the right.  She was a tremendous help in training our new page.  She is our Super Page Trainer!  Congrats Steph!

And the April Brag Award Goes To...

Danielle and Serena!  They were crowned Super DVD Packers!  Every month we pack up a package of DVD's to be sent off to the next library on the rotation.  Then we get a new package the next day.  Many DVD's get packed up, so it is a big job.  Danielle and Serena rocked it!

And the Brag Award for March Goes to...Gary!

Gary has a love for acting and he has shared that love by teaching acting classes for kids at the library with Miss Karin.  It has been quite successful and the kids are looking forward to many more classes in the future.  We have many budding actors and actresses among our Hobart population.

And the February Brag Award Goes To...

 Ty, Joyce, and Kris!!!!

All three have been crowned Super Shoveler/Salter(s) because February was like January and the Snow did not go away! :(

At different times of the month you could find one of these brave souls out shoveling snow or salting so they get to brag about it!

And the January Brag Award Goes To...

Amy and Ella!!!!

Amy and Ella were crowned January's Super Shoveler/Salter(s).  It seemed like every time we turned around in January snow had to be shoveled or the sidewalks needed salted.  Thanks to these two the library stayed pretty well Snow Free!  Thank You and Congrats!

I think I speak for these two when I say that we are so ready for Spring!!!!

Birthday's

 Every month we celebrate birthday's.  In February we had a special birthday!  Kris turned 40!  She doesn't look a day past 25!  Kris was a great sport, even wearing her over 40 necklace.  At this little surprise party we had tacos, chips and cheese, and fruit salad.  The birthday girl didn't want cake.  We aim to please!
